Quick & Easy Chicken Noodles with Rotisserie Chicken! When will you ever need Quick & Easy chicken noodle soup again? Of course: whenever cold, flu season strikes a raging path through your house, and that’s just when you really don’t have enough time to spend long-simmered, time consuming soup recipes, right?
Easy Chicken Noodle Soup
One of my all time favorite quick easy chicken noodle soup recipe is the Rotisserie chicken. I think it’s one of the best recipes that one can make, and it takes less than 10 minutes to prepare. If you’ve never made a Rotisserie chicken, you should know about this particular style of chicken. It’s basically the chicken that’s been cooked on its own outside in the yard. It comes in a variety of flavors: from the traditional Cajun flavor to more exotic spices, and you can have a whole selection of flavors for this dish if you’re creative.
You can serve up Rotisserie chicken any way that you like: with rice or soup, served cold or hot, with cream and onions, served as a side dish, or served with pasta. Whatever way you serve it, you’ll be satisfied every time. It’s a simple and delicious meal that doesn’t get old fast.
Now, you may be asking yourself what I use to prepare my Rotisserie chicken. Below are my four favorite ingredients that will help me create the best soup every time.
Chicken Noodle Soup
It is not complete without some garlic! For a quick and easy soup, I usually start by adding some garlic in with the onion and spices. This adds a great flavor to your soup and makes it very fresh tasting, as well.
Another ingredient that really helps me in my quick easy chicken noodle soup recipe is fresh basil. It adds a great bit of zest to the flavor and really gives it that fresh herb smell that everyone loves. You can easily add some fresh basil to your soup by grating fresh basil and adding it right into the soup. As you simmer the soup, the basil will add some extra flavor and will give your soup that added kick!
Fresh Thyme Leaves
Fresh thyme leaves are also wonderful to add to your Rotisserie chicken noodle soup and will add a nice touch of freshness and scent. As they are in the garden, they make a great herb garden as well. Add a few sprigs of fresh thyme leaves, and enjoy that fresh herb garden aroma.
Lastly, if you’re serving your quick easy soup with rice, be sure to sprinkle some sesame seeds onto the rice to give it a unique flavor. Sesame seeds add a little heat to the rice. Serve it up with steamed rice and your family will rave about how good your soup tastes!
Now that you have some ideas on how to prepare your simple soup, it’s time for some delicious recipes! Here are a few I like to serve to my family:
The most important thing to remember when preparing this easy chicken noodle soup recipe is to keep the ingredients fresh and the seasonings to a minimum. If you over season it, the soup will become too salty and your taste buds won’t enjoy it.
To make a better tasting chicken noodle soup, simply add some noodles and rice and some vegetables to your soup once it is all finished cooking. Add some more herbs and spices if you like.
