Mouth-Watering Grilled Corn Recipe To Make At Home

Grilled Corn Recipe

Ingredients

  • Corn
  • Kosher salt
  • BBQ sauce (recipe included)
  • BBQ herb (recipe included)

For BBQ butter

  • Two tablespoons canola oil
  • 1/2 small red onion, chopped
  • Two cloves garlic, chopped
  • Two teaspoons Spanish paprika
  • 1/2 teaspoon cayenne powder
  • One teaspoon toasted cumin seeds
  • One tablespoon ancho chili powder
  • 1/2 cup water
  • 1 1/2 sticks unsalted butter, slightly softened
  • One teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
  • Salt and freshly ground black pepper

For Herb Butter

  • Two sticks unsalted butter, at room temperature
  • 1/4 cup chopped fresh herbs (basil, chives or tarragon)
  • One teaspoon kosher salt
  • Freshly ground black pepper.

Instructions

Firstly, heat the grill. Then place the stripped corn in a bowl of warm water and salt. Leave to soak for ten minutes. After that, take it out of the pan and shake off the excess amount of water from it. And put it in the grill. Then cover it and heat for ten to fifteen minutes. The kernels of the corn should be tender.

BBQ butter

For the BBQ butter, heat the oil in a pan on high heat. Add the onion and cook until for 2 to 3 minutes then add the garlic and cook for 30 seconds. After that, add the paprika, cayenne, cumin, and ancho powder and cook for 1 minute. Pour a 1/2 cup of water and cook until the mixture thickens and dehydrates. Let it cool slowly.

After the above steps are completed, place the butter in a food processor, add the spice mixture and Worcestershire sauce and process until smooth. Then season it with salt and pepper, mix the mixture into a small bowl, and refrigerate for 30 minutes to allow the flavors to blend.

Herb Butter

For Herb butter, mix all the ingredients in the processor then process it until its texture is smooth.
